La femme - the horror
A couple of weekends ago me and J got some free tickets from Tonje to a women only event i Valbyhallen. With clothing, fashion shows, make-up, hair-removal, fitness, oils, tea, silicon, vaginal cream, pillows, sugar, spice, and everything nice. What a case study. I am still traumatized. (Yes, in the last picture they are holding a breast implant).

Creative marketing?
Here is an "ad" for the HBO TV-series True Blood that I found at a dorm here in Copenhagen. How to measure effectiveness in this case?

Library sweet library!
Today is the last day in the library, at least for a few weeks! It´s a kind of hate-love to sit here. The positive thing is that you meet all your fiends and there are numerous of "bad jokes" that seams funny after been insolated with your books. But the hate part is ofcourse that its sunny outside and that everyone else is celebrating the spring this weekend. Anyhow I just spotted some turists walking into the library with maps, cameras and a geeky smile on their face, so if you get sick of the sun you can always go and have a look of the nice arcitecture of CBS library.

Shoot the runner
One of the advantages to live on Amager is the beach. Five minutes by bike! I love to run there. It's super relaxing. You enjoy the lövely smell of the sea, a vue on Sweden and the Malmö bridge (if you are lucky with the weather : ) + the take-off or landing of the planes in Kastrup- CPH Airport.

I bike CHP
This was a great Sunday, we have literally biked the entire Copenhagen, from Frederiksberg, to Nørrebro, to Østerbro, to Vesterbro, to Valby and back again. This is why I love this street art! A picture say more than thousand words.

No life!
Due to this agonizing paper we handed in yesterday, we have had no life for the last two week. Sitting at the library all day long. So imagine how amusing this was!

Lost In Translation
Every travel guides of the Scandinavian countries will tell you the same: everyone speaks English!Great! But what happens if it's not the case?
This is what happened to me the other day: Back from work, I run to the laundry room. There, I meet the caretaker (Dk: vicevært) - f****, forgot to book a time! Failure of the sneeking attempt. Ah well! Trying to convince the guy I couldn't make it, have to do it now, blablabla- all that in English. He looks at you in a strange way. Then you realise he doesn't understand a word of what you are saying. Suddenly he mumbles something in Danish. Hehe, sorry but I don't get you. I might have understood some things regarding "...Don't you speak Danish?..." - " ...Nej, Jag talar lite svenska...". Ok, this wasn't going anywhere. Thinking to myself- let it be you'll do laundry later.
Back in the appartment. 10 min later- knock, knock- the caretaker! Mumbles in Danish, AGAIN!! So I tried to remember the few Danish I learned in the first semester: Vask? Nu?! (Laundry? Now?!) He understood and replied 'JA!'. A small step for A. but a giant one for the Danish culture.
